About TWS
Building the future for COMMUNITY service
The Timberwolveservice team leads community service within the Larchmont charter community and is responsible for updating the timberwolveservice (TWS) platform. our team seeks to solve problems in our service system and build a great future for community service at Larchmont charter. by doing this, we hope to inspire every student at Larchmont charter to engage in and positively influence their communities through community service.

Core concept
A Team of problem-solvers
as a team of problem-solvers, we believe it is always best to look for solutions through the lens of first principle thinking. timberwolveservice's first principles can be found using the following three questions: What are we deeply passionate about? what can we be the best in the school at? what are we driven to ultimately increase? applying these three questions to timberwolveservice, our team believes that we are passionate about inspiring a sense of community at lcs, we seek to be the best at tying the service community together, and we are driven to increase the service hours per student. these three principles make up the core concept of timberwolveservic, and our team uses these three principles to make decisions about the future of service at our school.

TWS History
"Inspiring community!"
timberwolveservice was founded by marc Luzuriaga in 2020. the web platform started as a community service resource list; however, after learning about the surmounting problems facing community service at larchmont, he sought to grow timberwolveservice as a platform to solve these problems. some of his notable accomplishments to the platform include writing the source code for the digital method of recording volunteer hours and starting the tws partner's initiative. he believes that the success behind timberwovleservice does not soley lie behind the technology itself but rather the passion and skills of the tws team to build the platform. marc luzuriaga will be pursuing a business economics degree at the university of california, los angeles (UCLA).
