Do you have a passion for swimming? Do you have a passion for helping your community? If the answer to either of those is "yes" then this is the volunteer position for you!

Assist the aquatics staff with ensuring rosters are up to date, checking students in for swim lessons, assisting and directing parents around pool, speaking with parents about the aquatics program, assisting the Aquatics Director/Coordinator with other duties.

Baby2Baby

Brief Description: Teaching your children a lesson in philanthropy could be as simple as an overdue closet clean out! Get the kiddos to thin out those toy-stuffed cabinets or have little ones fill bags with brand new clothing that was barely worn. Baby2Baby also hosts volunteer opportunities Mon.-Fri., 9a.m.-5p.m. at their Culver City warehouse, during which participants (ages 7 and up) can sort and organize donations or help assemble gift bundle bags for low-income kids and families in Los Angeles

Cedars-Sinai

Brief Description: Volunteer at Cedars Sinai either in the clerical division or the clinical division. In the clinical field, you can take calls from patients, do rounds, and sometimes deliver magazines and other to patients. In the clerical division, you can take calls from outside, direct people around the building, and sort through files.

Brief Description: This group focuses on the redistribution of books, benefiting inner-city classrooms and school libraries. Little ones can go through their own shelves and select the gently used books they’ve outgrown to donate to others. Kids can also volunteer to help spruce up library spaces, as well as to organize book donations, librarian-style

APLA Health

Brief Description: Volunteers help load grocery bags with fresh produce, frozen meats, dry goods or hygiene items and distribute to the APLA Health clients. They also have opportunities to lead recreational activities to interact with clients while they wait for their groceries: Music, Jenga, Connect Four, Cornhole, etc.

Sage and Seekers

Brief Description: Students will be able to pick up good conversation skills and learn from an individual from a different generation. Students will be able to understand the different perspectives people have. It shows that a difference in age can still always be a good conversation.

Brief Description: Students will do acts of community service to help the community. This is an amazing opportunity to get connections, meet new people, and gain leadership skills.
